You’ll learn how to spot your own emotional triggers and replace defensive reactions with clear, assertive, solution-focused communication. Through empathy and the “Empower & Ask” approach, you’ll build the skills to ease tension and develop genuine rapport. Whether your goal is to improve team working or provide outstanding service, this course gives you a practical framework for creating better outcomes in every interaction.
Manage “Primitive Brain Hijacks” using “Breathe, Name the Emotion, Think to Solve” to regain clear thinking during emotional situations.
Identify personal “Emotional Bait” and respond assertively, avoiding aggressive or passive reactions in order to remain professional.
Use empathy and validation to acknowledge feelings, reduce tension, and build rapport without necessarily agreeing with the other person.
Use “Empower & Ask” to shift the conversation from emotion to resolution by offering collaborative choices.
Emotional Intelligence for Interpersonal Excellence is a 2-hour interactive virtual class for up to 20 people. You will be sent the online class instructions prior to class date.
Our virtual classes are conducted using user-friendly and secure platforms that support interactive learning, such as Zoom and Teams. We want to ensure an engaging instructor-led virtual experience, that fosters effective communication skills development.
Participants receive the manual for the course and additional resources as needed. They will have access to a follow-up check-in to encourage continuous learning and application of communication skills.
Absolutely! Our online Public Speaking class is designed to be fully interactive. You are expected to engage with the instructor and other participants throughout the session. The virtual classroom includes features like chat, breakout rooms, and live Q&A sessions to enhance your learning experience.
